Louis Vincent Albano, 76, was a professional wrestler, WWF personality and actor, best known for his connection to the 1980s “Rock & Wrestling” phenomenon. He was famous for appearing in Cyndi Lauper’s videos as her fictional father and playing Mario on the live action segments of the Super Mario TV show in the early 90s. Possessing a loud mouth and a larger than life personality, the man was famous for his antagonist manager role in pro wrestling and his cheek piercing.
The man made me laugh more than any wrestling personality, not to mention he was the best live action Super Mario.
So long, dude. Enjoy some classic Captain Lou vids after the fold.

Dom DeLuise, the portly funnyman whose star shined in comedies such as Cannonball Run, Spaceballs and Blazing Saddles, died Monday in a Los Angeles hospital at the age of 75 according to Entertainment Tonight.
Dom DeLuise was one of my favorite character actors of all time. He made me laugh many, many times growing up in the 80s. You’ll be missed, brother.
Here’s him seeking it rowtow style:
I don’t know how how I missed this until now, but Lux Interior of the Cramps died this past Wednesday.
It was a heart condition that did him in, which surprised me since I always figured it’d be lung cancer after watching him stuff an entire pack of cigs into his mouth and light them with a blowtorch at the last Cramps show I saw. He was 62 (pretty old to be that punk rock) and he had been married to bandmate Poison Ivy for 37 years.
