I don’t know how how I missed this until now, but Lux Interior of the Cramps died this past Wednesday.
It was a heart condition that did him in, which surprised me since I always figured it’d be lung cancer after watching him stuff an entire pack of cigs into his mouth and light them with a blowtorch at the last Cramps show I saw. He was 62 (pretty old to be that punk rock) and he had been married to bandmate Poison Ivy for 37 years.
