So, apparently back in the 1980s on the Real Ghostbusters cartoon they had an episode with Cthulhu, the Necronomicon, Arkham, Miskatonic University and a direct namecheck to H.P. Lovecraft. No, I’m not making this up.
How on earth did this cartoon get made, must less broadcast in the Reagan 80s? Christian kooks lose their shit over incredibly trivial stuff like thinking that Mighty Mouse smelling a flower is inciting kids to do cocaine, this cartoon has a straight up Necronomicon covered in pentagrams.
