FriedWire writes “”A 22-year-old Boulder man tripping on acid nearly cut his eyelids off Friday night using a pen and a piece of wire, police reported.
The unidentified man then threatened around 7 p.m. to jump off a two-story building in the 3100 block of 28th Street, police said.
He was taken to the hospital, where doctors said they were optimistic they could reattach his lids, which were still partially attached, according to police.
He was ordered to be held 72 hours for a mental evaluation.

Yeah, so, I know this kid. I feel really bad for him, in a pitying sort of way. Turns out he also burned his retinas pretty badly from staring at the sun. He’s going straight to rehab as soon as he’s out of the hospital. He was on probation for possession of ecstacy, pot, and G recently, too. I really hope everything turns out ok for him.
