It was in 1846 that Francesco Peroni started the brewery that would soon become the leader of the Italian beer market. Today, over 150 years later, the Peroni family still oversees the company’s four breweries, making it possible to maintain an extremely high standard of excellence. Brewed in the tradition of centuries old Scottish brewing methods, “Road” is reminiscent of a Porter. Road Dog is a rich, malty beer with hints of chocolate and licorice resulting from the use of four prized malts. Original Gravity: 14.0 Plato Specific Gravity: 1.056 Alcohol by Weight: 4.8% Damn good beer. If you look at the label carefully, you will notice “no shit.” That’s now illegal in colorado and you will never see that label again.
